For more than twelve years, I have painted for children facing cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
One painting at a time. One child at a time. One story at a time.
I never began this journey thinking it would become a book. I was simply following where my paintbrush — and my heart — led me.
But somewhere along the way, all those moments began connecting.
The children.
The families.
The kindness of strangers.
The people who appeared at exactly the right time.
And the quiet reminders that even the smallest act of love can travel much farther than we ever realize.
Those moments became the heart of Elena's Magic Paintbrush.
The book will be released on September 10, and as that day gets closer, I keep thinking about how none of this was ever planned.
It simply grew.
Much like HOPE itself.
And maybe that is where the real magic has always been. 💛
